2023 Be A Bunny Helper Project at Whiz Kids Toys! 

March 1st thru April 7th

One of Rita’s favorite projects was to make Easter baskets with her family and friends and deliver them to children at the homeless shelter. Back then 20 to 25 baskets were assembled and gifted to children in need. The requests for baskets have increased throughout the years and this year we hope to gift 300 children a basket.

This project is definitely a team effort and we are so very grateful for our partnership with Lesa Smith, owner of Whiz Kids Toys! This year marks our 7th year working with Lesa Smith and her amazing staff who select age-appropriate toys and assemble each Easter Basket with great love and care.

With the support of you, our donors, and Whiz Kids Toys! customers the baskets are purchased and Rita’s Rainbows “bunnies” deliver them to several agencies that serve children in need. We hope you will ‘Hop on Over’ to Whiz Kids Toys! and help support our efforts to bring a little bit of joy, smiles, and happiness to children in need.
